There is a certain amount of uncertainty as we enter the year 2021's summer. This includes the way the service we provide to our society can incorporate the highly valued relationship between humans that Rotary members experienced in past moments. The mantra "hands meet face to face" is going to be a key part of the routine It's evident that there's an increase in optimism and the determination to meet face-to-face. The Rotary organization has evolved. There is still a level of uncertainty that will continue to grow as we progress to the summer of 2021. It is yet to be determined if the personal connections Rotary participants valued in the past will continue. It is not clear if the mantra "hands face space" is expected to be an integral part of our routine It's evident that there is a growing faith and desire to connect face-to face. Rotary is also changing. Rotary is a network that fosters long-lasting friendships. We've honed the way we conduct online meetings for our business' whilst reintroducing activities for service and social in a safe face-to-face format. These new possibilities have been paired with our lessons from our previous pandemics to bring a fresh perspective to Rotary. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business as usual" actions. This summer there have been a lot of Rotary members have been out in public focusing on various initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. It's wonderful to learn that the Rotary Support Centre team is able to provide important resources to assist with the maintenance and promotion of the infrastructure, keeping members and the general public protected. Compliance and insurance are essential. Our Rotarians are able to come up with innovative and imaginative solutions for the toughest challenges. That's why I was so elated to have the chance to join Rotary at the age of 22 in. Rotary along with many others has given me a strong network of fellow members who share my values and who have formed genuine friendships in the last 20 years.
